As Lagos continues to expand, one industry witnessing geometrical expansion is gambling.
Online sports betting which has been growing rapidly as the Centre of Excellence attains its mega city status now has a new player, betBonanza, with better bonuses and product offerings which include reasonable cashout.
In addition, betting just gets better as any bet placed through betBonanza is a potential winner, whether the bet falls through or not.
According to the managing director of the company, Adekunle Adeniji, “Having cut my teeth in the industry, I’m privy to know that there are so many bonuses that punters are entitled to which at the moment most betting companies are not transparent about. BetBonanza is here to change that.
“I know what the market requires and should be, and we’re bringing that into the game.”
On his part, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Lagos State Lottery Board, Seun Anibaba, who was also in attendance, while congratulating the company reinforced the government’s commitment in ensuring betting industry survives and flourishes.
“As regulator, the state is trying to create a conducive environment for businesses like betBonanza to survive,” he said. Anibaba, however, assured punters that betBonanza is duly registered and licensed under the Lagos State government.
The highpoint of the event was the unveiling of Daniel Amokachi, popularly called The Bull, as brand ambassador. Amokachi, the veteran footballer and former Super Eagles of Nigeria player, whose experience in the sporting industry spans many years, had led Nigeria into victories at several competitions.
On why the choice of ambassador, the Marketing Manager of the company, George Mbam, noted that Amokachi is one of the biggest brands in Nigerian football and his character aligns with the values of betBonanza.
“There are lot of characters The Bull possesses, which betBonanza would love to be associated with,” he stated, “He is resilient and break barriers. What Amokachi has done, nobody had done it as a footballer. Hence, betBonanza wants to achieve what no other betting company has achieved, in a more transparent manner.”
Amokachi appreciated the kind gesture of the company.
“I feel blessed for the honour. betBonanza has come to stay and I have 110 percent trust in the managing director to do what is right to get the brand better,” the former Olympic Gold Medalist said.
He appealed to punters to ‘keep supporting our brand as we would continue to get better’.
While stressing the need for transparency, Adeniji stated that the company is so transparent, winners get paid within 2hours of declaration. He also assured that even losers still have the chance to win as there would be monthly draw where any one that places a bet, either win or lose, would be chosen.
The Chief Finance Officer, Mrs. Kehinde, while appreciating the support from the state government and the media, stressed that the choice of Amokachi as brand ambassador was the best thing to happen to the company.
